Christmas Miracle Family

The proud parents of eleven children bought a modest home near Enid, but didn’t have the resources to meet the minimum standards set by Children Protective Services. They had a very tight deadline to get the house in working order before the children were to be taken away, just before Christmas.

Many local REALTORS®, citizens and laborers donated their time, talents and skills right away. OHF was ecstatic to be able to offer a $5,000 grant in the form of a pre-funded account at an area Lowe’s home improvement store for Enid’s Habitat for Humanity personnel to purchase the needed supplies to finish the home for the Christmas Miracle Family. In the end, the family was able to stay together in their home. It truly was a Christmas Miracle!
